The purchase of the door access control system was anticipated during the budget planning process for the current fiscal year. Over the past four (4) years, monitoring and securing our buildings has been a top priority. Funds are appropriated in the FY10 budget as approved by the Board, within the Building Improvements line item.

Staff Recommendation:

After discussing the above bids with Mr. Graham, we recommend acceptance of the total bids, including the maintenance agreements, submitted by Pro-Tec Security – $13,031.15 for the door access control system; $625.00 to bring our maintenance agreements up-to-date; and, $250.00 for an annual maintenance contract for all security systems.
